Architectural Drawing
Bangkok Canal After visiting Bangkok and taking a ride on a pump boat through the Old Bangkok canals district, I was going through my photos and came across this image. I knew it would be challenging to redroduce the water with graphite but I really wanted to draw this scene. After approx. 40 hours of drafting, I decided I had reached a happy place! What I really like about this scene is the character of ‘old world’ charm nestled right in the middle of a bustling vibrant city, and the sense of peculiar – power poles erected in a body of water!
I use a variety of materials for my drawings usually ranging from:
graphite pencils | charcoal | pastels | gel pens
I don’t stick to a particular style or genre. I pride myself on being creative and challenge myself across many disciplines.
