Bent Tree

Bent Tree is a landscape oil painting that is richly layered and textured using palette knives to construct. For my reference, I used a photo my husband Stuart took whilst on a Blue Mountains walk. I love texture in paintings and I am really drawn to mimmicking the bark on trees to give my paintings extra life, and depth of field.
